Sorrel O’Malley – Clinic Director

Sorrel O’Malley is the principle Osteopath at Sorrel O’Malley Osteopaths in Yarm.

She has been working as an Osteopath since 2010 after completing her 4 year BSChonsOstMed at the Surrey Institute of Osteopathic Medicine.

As well as being a qualified GOsC registered Osteopath and members of The Institute of Osteopathy, the UK’s professional membership organisation for registered Osteopaths, Sorrel also teaches on the Osteopathic Medicine MScOst course at Leeds Beckett University.

Sorrel specialises in massage and joint mobilisation techniques to offer fast and effective pain relief with expert advice to help resolve your condition.


Joshua Myers – Clinic Associate

Joshua qualified with a BSc (Hons) Ost. Med after 5 years of study in London, where he completed elective placements in private clinics and within the NHS in trauma surgery and orthopaedics. After suffering two leg fractures himself he believes strongly that a successful rehabilitation comprises integrated and communication-focused treatment to provide the best outcome for patients and has written an article on this in the profession’s national publication.

He has a keen interest in inflammatory conditions and how they affect mental health and is currently furthering his study with a master’s degree in neuroscience at King’s College London. Outside of clinic, Joshua has interests in sport, film and theatre and has written a screenplay with a colleague.

Joshua is available in clinic on Monday, Thursday & Saturday – and runs a specialist Sports Injury clinic every Monday morning.

Our approach

We use a holistic approach, looking at the whole body and treating the symptoms and the cause. We believe the best way to resolve many conditions is through the use of massage and joint mobilisation, stretching and strengthening exercises.

The clinic is situated at 44 High Street, Yarm. It is a friendly and modern clinic where the space is shared between Osteopaths,  Sports Therapists, Pilates Instructors and Bowen Therapists, all working under one roof.
